Guides & Scouts Horseback Riding
We would love to welcome your group for an unforgettable day at Bar JO Ranch! Our guided trail rides are designed for Girl Guides and Scouts aged 8 and up, offering a fun and educational experience.
Each rider will receive a riding lesson before the trail ride, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident. We also provide a brief demonstration to help participants earn their appropriate badges or certifications.
Trail Ride Options
- 1-hour trail ride – $70 + GST
- 1.5-hour trail ride – $100 + GST
We can accommodate up to 15 riders per group.
For larger groups, we can divide participants into smaller groups.
Adults are welcome to join.
Maximum rider weight: 225 lbs
Safety & Requirements
All riders must wear an ASTM- or BSI/BS-approved equestrian helmet, which we provide free of charge.

Our ranch features a green space and picnic shelter, perfect for a picnic-style lunch if your group would like to bring one.
